As part of the research work under the PYP Exhibition program, students of the Nazarbayev Intellectual School visited Kazhydromet RSE with an introductory tour.
During the visit, the students got acquainted with the history of Kazhydromet, the main activities of the national hydrometeorological service, and also learned about the causes and features of climate change. Climatologists told us what factors the climate depends on and how it is changing in modern conditions.
In addition, an excursion to the hydrometeorological center was organized for students, where they could see the work of weather forecasters and get acquainted with the process of making weather forecasts.
The guided tour allowed the students to deepen their knowledge of meteorology and climatology, as well as gain practical insights to complete their research projects.
