A change in the weather situation is expected in most of Kazakhstan. Unstable weather patterns are forecast in the western, northern, central and eastern regions with the passage of the northwestern cyclone and associated atmospheric fronts. There will be rains with thunderstorms, heavy in some areas on July 16-17, hail is possible, and heavy wind strengthening. Against the background of precipitation, the heat will gradually weaken in the west of the Republic of Kazakhstan: during the day the air temperature will be +22+35°C, in the north there will be a short-term drop in temperature to +21+36°C, and in the center and east of the republic very strong heat is expected to reach +41°C.
At the same time, in the south, south-east and in some areas of the south-west of the country, the impact of the removal of hot air masses from the regions of Central Asia will continue. Mostly precipitation-free weather is expected here, with short-term thunderstorms possible only in the mountainous regions of the southeast. Daytime air temperature will reach +41+46 °C, which is higher than the climatic norm.
