According to the preliminary forecast, atmospheric drought is expected in August 2026:
in the Bokeyordinsky and Zhanibeksky districts of the West Kazakhstan region;
in the Shalkarsky and Irgizsky districts of the Aktobe region;
in the Kurmangazinsky district of the Atyrau region;
in Alakol and Aksu districts of Zhetysu region;
in Moyynkum, Korday, Sarysu, Talas, Shus, Zhambyl, and Bayzak districts of Zhambyl region;
in Arys, Suzak, Ordabasinsky, Shardarinsky, Tyulkubasinsky, Baidibeksky districts of Turkestan region
in Aralsky, Kazalinsky, Karmakshinsky, Shieliysky districts of Kyzylorda region and in Kyzylorda city.
Moderately humid is predicted i in Timiryazevsky and Yessilsky districts of North Kazakhstan region and in Uzunkolsky and Kamystinsky districts of Kostanay region.
In the rest of the country, the conditions of humidification are expected to be close to normal.
