Students of K. Zhubanov University Visit Aktobe Meteorological and Aerological Stations

Students from the History and Geography Faculties of K. Zhubanov University visited the Aktobe aerological and meteorological stations operated by the Aktobe Region Branch of the RSE “Kazhydromet”.

During the экскурсия, the students learned about the specific features of meteorological and aerological station operations, the organization of weather and atmospheric process observations, and the importance of hydrometeorological data in preparing weather forecasts.

The participants became familiar with the work of specialists, the equipment used, and the methods of conducting observations. Special attention was given to aerological observations, which provide information about atmospheric conditions at different altitudes and are used in weather forecasting.

The visit provided the students with an opportunity to explore the practical aspects of hydrometeorology, expand their professional knowledge, and learn more about the work of Kazhydromet specialists.
