A wave of cold weather awaits residents of Kazakhstan

At the end of the week, most of the Republic will still be under the influence of an extensive anticyclone. It will keep the weather warm and without precipitation. Only the North-Western and Northern regions of the country will be affected by the cyclone trough from the Ob Bay, which will bring precipitation, wind strengthening, and further increase in air temperature. However, on October 18, the North-Western and Northern regions of the country will be hit by the cold caused by the invasion of the North-Western anticyclone. On October 19, it will reach the center and East of the country. A sharp drop in air temperature is expected at night to 0-8 frost, in the afternoon to 5-15 heat, as well as in places a low-level snowstorm, fog, and ice on the roads.In the rest of Kazakhstan, the weather will remain warm and mostly without precipitation.
