The air temperature continues to drop. The lowest average monthly air temperature in the North-East of the East Kazakhstan region is-20-24°C.
Precipitation from November to December in the Northern half of Kazakhstan decreases, and in the southern half, on the contrary, increases and amounts to 25-50 mm in the foothills of the South, South-East and East, 51-200 mm in the mountains of the East and South (for the entire period of meteorological observations), up to 32 mm in the West, 10-24 mm in the North and center of the country.

In the West of the country with a predominance of anticyclonal weather type, mostly no precipitation is expected. Only at the end of the first decade, with the passage of the frontal sections, snow and wind strengthening are expected, the air temperature will rise at night to -9-15°C, in the afternoon to 0,-5°C. In the South and South-East of the Republic at the beginning and end of the decade will be precipitation, at the beginning of the decade in the mountainous and foothill areas heavy, mainly in the form of snow.
