Published 20.12.2020 RSE "Kazgidromet" on a regular basis conducts selection and analysis of samples of atmospheric air of Almaty by determination of content of benzo(a)pyrene. Benz (a) pyrene in large cities is allocated mainly by road.
The results of sampling and analysis of atmospheric air samples in Almaty to determine the content of benz (a) pyrene for December 9, 2020 showed concentrations below the MPC (MPC average daily in the air of populated areas = 0.001 mcg / m3).
Sampling was carried out at the following 5 points:
- Amangeldy Street, corner of Satpayev Street;
- pr. Raiymbek, corner of Nauryzbay Batyr Street;
- mkr. Ainabulak-3;
- mkr. Aksai-3, Marechek Street, corner of B. Momyshuly Street;
- mkr. Tastak-1, 249 Tole bi Street
The actual concentrations of benz (a) pyrene were 0.0002-0.0005 mcg / m3.
