Published 21.01.2021 In connection with the death of fish in the Karataban reservoir in the territory of the Kyzylorda region, on January 20, 2021, specialists of the integrated laboratory of the branch of the RSE "Kazhydromet" in the Kyzylorda region, together with the RSU "Kyzylorda Regional Territorial Inspection of Forestry and Wildlife", conducted an unscheduled visit and sampling of water at 3 points.
Water quality analysis is carried out on 28 physical and chemical indicators, including major ions, biogenic substances, organic and inorganic substances, and heavy metals.
According to the results of the analysis, the water temperature of the Karataban reservoir was in the range of 1.6-2.2 ° C, the hydrogen index was 7.2-7.4, the concentration of oxygen dissolved in the water was 1.22-1.41 mg / dm3 (oxygen deficiency), the transparency was 21 cm, the smell was 0 points, no odor was detected, the water was transparent.
Currently, physical and chemical analysis of water samples is being performed to determine heavy metals, organic and biogenic substances, biochemical oxygen consumption for 5 days, and the results will be presented later.
