Figure of the day – March 23

World Meteorological Day is held annually on 23 March to commemorate the entry into force of the Convention establishing the World Meteorological Organization in 1950. This day is celebrated around the world and recalls the significant contribution of national meteorological and hydrological services to the safety and well-being of society.
