Residents of the village of Burlin in the West Kazakhstan region appealed to local government agencies with a complaint about the constant smell of hydrogen sulfide in the air. In order to provide the population with online information about air quality, Kazhydromet RSE has established and launched an environmental pollution monitoring point (PNZ) on Chapaevskaya 14/2 Street in the village of Burlin since July 1.
Information about the concentrations of pollutants is sent to the server of RSE "Kazhydromet" and is displayed on the interactive map of environmental regulation and in the AirKZ mobile application. In turn, the executive bodies will have reliable information about air pollution, the number of exceedances of the maximum permissible concentrations, and will also be able to carry out work to identify the sources of unpleasant odors and eliminate the causes.
