The Scientific and Technical Council (STC) is a consultative body of the RSE "Kazhydromet" in order to improve the efficiency of scientific and technical activities in the field of meteorological, hydrological and environmental monitoring.
The STC carries out its activities in accordance with the Regulation on the Scientific and Technical Council approved by the Order of the Director General of RSE "Kazhydromet" 360-Ө of 04.05.2024.
The main tasks of the STC are to consider issues related to the choice of directions, formation of plans and programmes of scientific activity of the enterprise in the field of environmental monitoring, meteorological and hydrological monitoring, development of proposals and recommendations; development of proposals to improve the efficiency of scientific, scientific-methodological and production activities of the enterprise and its structural divisions.
The STC consists of leading scientists of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the field of hydrometeorology and environmental protection, water resources, representing Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, L.N. Gumilyov ENU, Institute of Geography and Water Safety.
