Reserves of productive soil moisture before leaving for the winter.
According to the results of a route survey conducted in October-November 2025, soil moisture reserves are satisfactory and optimal in most of the Akmola, Kostanay and North Kazakhstan regions. The formation of moisture reserves in these regions is due to precipitation in October and a decrease in the intensity of evaporation in the autumn season.
In Aktobe, Karaganda and Pavlodar regions, moisture reserves are mostly insufficient. In the south-east, soil moisture reserves are mostly satisfactory and optimal. In Turkestan and Zhambyl regions, moisture reserves are mostly insufficient, and in some areas they are satisfactory. In the east of the country, soil moisture reserves are not evenly distributed: from insufficient to satisfactory, optimal in the Altai region.
