Kazhydromet releases drought forecast for August
According to the preliminary forecast, atmospheric drought is expected in August 2026
in the Bokeyordinsky and Zhanybeksky districts of the West Kazakhstan region.;
in Shalkar and Irgiz districts of Aktobe region;
in Kurmangazinsky district of Atyrau region;
in the Alakol, Aksu districts of the Zhetisu
region, in the Moyinkum, Kordai, Sarysu, Talas, Shusk, Zhambyl and Bayzak districts of the Zhambyl region;
in Aryssk, Suzak, Ordabasinsky, Shardarinsky, Tyulkubassky, Baydibek districts of Turkestan region
in the Aral, Kazalinsky, Karmakshinsky, Shieli districts of the Kyzylorda region and in the city of Kyzylorda.
Moderately humid weather is forecast in the Timiryazevsky and Yesilsky districts of the North Kazakhstan region and in the Uzunkol and Kamystinsky districts of Kostanay region .
Humidification conditions are expected to be close to normal in the rest of the country.
