Published 07.08.2021 During the decade, hot weather with precipitation was observed throughout Kazakhstan, good humidification conditions due to precipitation above normal were observed in the western regions, in some places in the Kostanay and North Kazakhstan regions. The treatment of crops against weeds with herbicides and pesticides against pests and diseases of grain crops continues. In the southern regions, meteorological conditions were generally favorable for the full ripeness of winter and spring grain crops and harvesting operations.
In the observed areas, the "flowering" and "milk ripeness" phases were noted on spring wheat crops, and "wax ripeness"was observed in some areas. The condition of the plants is mostly good and satisfactory, the crops in the vicinity of the Arshalinsky station of the Denisovsky district of the Kostanay region are poor. The height of the plants reaches 41-79 cm, on late crops up to 40 cm. The average number of stems with an ear per 1 sq. m. is from 153 to 480 pcs., in some places there were 94 pcs., the number of spikelets in a wheat ear is 10-27 pcs. , of which up to 6 pcs. are underdeveloped. The average number of grains in an ear of wheat in some areas was 10-33 pcs., of which up to 20% were puny. In the vicinity of the Tayynsha stations, fertilizing with nitrogen fertilizers and processing with pesticides of wheat crops continues.
