Published 18.08.2021 On August 17, 2021, in Nur-Sultan, a meeting was held between the RSE "Kazhydromet" and the delegation of PJSC "NPO Almaz" of the Russian Federation.
At the meeting, the guests familiarized the RSE "Kazhydromet" with a presentation on the creation of a unified information field for radar data of the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union "Project REANET".
The goal of the REANET Project is to provide real-time access to information on the state and changes of climate, early warning of dangerous meteorological phenomena (hail, thunderstorm, heavy rainfall, floods, floods, mudflows, landslides, avalanches, drought, forest fires) for prompt prevention and minimization of possible damage.
Access to information will be carried out based on technologies, software products and modern equipment available in the EAEU countries. At the moment, the information is presented locally for individual countries, access to which is only within each state. Representatives of PJSC NPO Almaz consider it expedient to create an international REANET network with the aim of integrating data from all countries into a single field and organizing mutual access to information in real time.
RSE "Kazhydromet" expressed its interest in the implementation of the "REANET Project", the parties also agreed to continue cooperation in all areas.
