Published 19.08.2021 Starting today, we are notifying you that we are launching a series of publications about ongoing updates and repairs in the regional branches of RSE "Kazhydromet".
This time we will talk about the branch in the Almaty region. It is worth noting that in the area of activity of this branch there are 1 hard-to-reach station, 11 weather stations, 7 self-operating automatic stations and 3 installed at standard weather stations, 1 automatic agrometeorological post, 1 agrometeorological post, 29 hydrological posts, 1 SCAT and 1 PNZ.
For the period from 2020 to the 1st half of 2021, we have completed the following works in full:
2 new AMS "Basshi" and "Akzhar" were installed, 3 hydraulic posts were opened in the districts of the Koksu River-Mambet village, Borokhudzir River-S.Koktal-Arasan and R. Terekty-S. Shatyrbay.
The AMC was moved from Taldykorgan to Dostyk station, and the AAP from Boran village (East Kazakhstan Region) to p.Kyzyltu, Aksu district. The mobile building and standard equipment of the Matai meteorological station were also transferred to the same point.
We carried out repair work on MS "Zharkent", MS "Ucharal" and MS "Alakol".
The ferry of the hydropost r was restored.Karatal-S. Akzhar.
To open a hydrological post on the Terekty River — Shatyrbay village, Koksu River-Mambet Village and Borokhudzir River-S.Koktal-Arasan the branch concreted the sites for the installation of piles.
MS Zharkent, Kogaly, Sarkand branch employees connected the building to the central water supply network and installed a septic tank.
We moved the AMC Matai to the settlement of Basshi.
In addition, windows and doors were replaced at each weather station, facades were repaired, fences were installed and roof coverings were replaced.
That's such a big thing we have done. And all this was done on their own, at their own expense.
