18,300: that's how much Kostanay region has carried out measurements

In accordance with the work plan of the laboratory of the Kostanay branch in 2021, it was carried out:

1. 3,480 analyses of atmospheric air at two stationary monitoring posts for atmospheric air pollution

2. more than 1,300 measurements of atmospheric air pollution using a mobile laboratory

3. about 17,000 measurements of atmospheric air pollution at automatic air pollution control stations

4. 6 samples of atmospheric precipitation, 3 samples of snow cover in 2 settlements of the region

Conducted:

1. planned sampling of soil, water and sediments at 2 transboundary hydrological posts to control the transboundary transfer of toxic components

2. to control the content of heavy metals in soil samples, scheduled soil sampling in 6 localities

3. observations of the radiation background level in 6 settlements of the region were carried out

And 80 samples of surface water were taken in 12 reservoirs, 9 water bodies of the Kostanay region, about 4,700 analyzes were carried out.

Also, at the beginning of June 2021, the branch conducted joint selections at the cross-border hydrological posts Lyutinka and Varvarinka with representatives of the hydrometeorological services of the Chelyabinsk and Kurgan regions.

As a result, the laboratories of the Kostanay branch were launched: a surface water analysis hall, an atmospheric air analysis hall, a weighing room, an engineering room, a warehouse for materials and reagents, a warehouse for precursors.
