In 2020-2021. In pursuance of the Roadmap for the comprehensive solution of environmental problems of the cities of Nur-Sultan and Almaty, work was carried out to transform and improve the laboratory of the capital— repairs were made, new furniture was purchased, a complete relocation to a new production facility in the building of the Central Office of the RSE "Kazhydromet"was carried out. This significantly increased the efficiency of the laboratory's interaction with the CA, and also allows students to practice in two directions at once (laboratory analysis and processing of the obtained data).
The laboratory is equipped with modern analytical equipment, such as chromatographs, atomic absorption spectrometers, spectrophotometers, portable water analyzers and much more. And also this year, a gas chromatograph was purchased for the determination of volatile organic compounds in the atmospheric air.
The Nur-Sultan laboratory is accredited for compliance with the international standard ISO / IEC GOST 17025 "General requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories".
It should be noted that the employees of RSE "Kazhydromet" regularly successfully pass inspection checks of the authorized organization "National Accreditation Center". This, in turn, confirms the competence of our specialists, as well as the laboratory's compliance with international requirements.
