Published 28.08.2021 During the decade, hot weather with precipitation was observed throughout Kazakhstan, good humidification conditions due to precipitation above normal were observed in the north-east of the country in the Pavlodar, Karaganda regions, as well as in the East Kazakhstan region, which somewhat hindered the course of harvesting operations, in other areas there were good conditions for the start of harvesting spring grain crops. In the southern regions, meteorological conditions were generally favorable for the completion of harvesting operations in the mountainous and foothill areas of the Almaty region.
In the observed areas in the northern regions, the "waxy ripeness" and "full ripeness" phase was noted on spring wheat crops in some areas, "milk ripeness". The condition of the plants is generally good and satisfactory. The height of the plants reaches 58-91 cm, on late crops up to 55 cm.
The condition of spring barley is generally good and satisfactory. The height of barley reaches 38-73 cm. The phase of development "milk ripeness" - "full ripeness", weeds are common.
