RSE "Kazhydromet" held the first meeting with NAO "National Agrarian Scientific and Educational Center"

It should be noted that in addition to the main activity, Kazhydromet actively develops the direction of agrometeorological monitoring, promotes a web application for farmers AgroData.kz. The application reflects a lot of useful information about the amount of moisture in the soil, drought forecasts and much more useful for agriculture.

At the meeting, the NAO "National Agrarian and Educational Center" proposed to the National Hydrometeorological Service of Kazakhstan to develop cooperation in the field of forecasts for agriculture.

Specialists of the agro-educational center identified the main topics that attract them, namely, the capabilities of the hydrometeorological service in predicting prolonged droughts, the expected amount of precipitation and many other topics of interest to agricultural producers.

So, in their opinion, the forecasts and analytical data of Kazhydromet will increase efficiency in agriculture. As well as timely informing farmers, it will reduce the risks of crop and livestock loss.

In conclusion, the agro-industrial complex made proposals for system interaction, exchange of information and data.
