Published 13.09.2021 Within the framework of the memorandum with the Association of Practicing Ecologists, 15 more sensors are integrated into the observation network of RSE "Kazhydromet" for monitoring atmospheric air quality. New points will be installed in the cities of Aktobe, Atyrau and Pavlodar. Recently, five sensors were installed in Ust-Kamenogorsk. After installation and configuration, the sensor readings, which are suspended particles PM10 and PM-2.5 (dust), will be available on the interactive map of atmospheric air http://ecodata.kz:3838/app_dem_visual/ and in the mobile app Ai.kz.
The work within the framework of the expansion of the monitoring network by the National Hydrometeorological Service of Kazakhstan is carried out systematically. The network has recently been supplemented with 30 new stations purchased at the expense of own funds of RSE "Kazhydromet" and will be regularly supplemented with posts by the Association of Practicing Environmentalists. The density of the network will allow residents of Kazakhstan to really assess the index of atmospheric air quality in their locality.
