Published 16.09.2021 Within the framework of the memorandum with the Association of Practicing Ecologists, 10 more sensors are integrated into the observation network of RSE "Kazhydromet" for monitoring atmospheric air quality. New points have already been installed in the cities of Aktobe, Ust-Kamenogorsk and Atyrau, recently Pavlodar was included in this list. Three sensors were installed in the busiest areas of the city: the intersection of Kamzin and Chkalov streets, along Aimanov Street and Lomov Street. After installation and configuration, the sensor readings, which are suspended particles PM-10 and PM-2.5 (dust), are already available on the interactive atmospheric air map http://ecodata.kz:3838/app_dem_visual/ and also in the AirKz mobile app https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=kz.khm.airkz
By the way, the work within the framework of expanding the monitoring network of the National Hydrometeorological Service of Kazakhstan is being carried out systematically. The network has recently been supplemented with 30 new stations purchased at the expense of own funds of RSE "Kazhydromet". In addition, we also inform you that the network will be regularly supplemented with posts by the Association of Practicing Environmentalists.
In turn, the density of the network will allow residents of Kazakhstan to really assess the level of atmospheric air quality in their locality.
