Published 22.11.2021 With the participation of the North Kazakhstan branch of the RSE "Kazhydromet" in the kindergarten "Altyn Besik" of the city of Petropavlovsk, a real weather station was created. It is equipped with meteorological instruments for children's observation of natural phenomena.
Meteorologist is one of the most important professions along with rescuers and the military. And all because meteorologists have information that is very important and extremely necessary for many sectors of the country's life, to ensure the safety of the population, to timely prevent tragedies, catastrophes and to predict natural disasters.
The branch of Kazhydromet provided the kindergarten not only with practical assistance, providing them with the necessary equipment, but also explained in an accessible way how it works, how to use data to make weather forecasts. 350 children and staff are currently engaged in the kindergarten, who enthusiastically get acquainted with the difficult profession of a meteorologist and forecaster.
Methodological and practical assistance, scientific advice, as well as support was provided by our employee, director of the branch for North Kazakhstan Region - Kymbat Mergalimova. This is a pilot project of the branch, which is also planned to be adapted for the city's schools.
