In the first decade of December in the south, south-east and west of the country in the areas of cultivation of winter grain crops, the temperature background was higher than normal by 2 ...7C, precipitation mostly fell less than normal, in the west and in the foothill and mountainous areas of the Almaty region above normal.
An increase in the average daily air temperature led to the resumption of winter wheat vegetation in the observed areas in the vicinity of the Tasaryk station of the Turkestan region. Around the station of the village of T. Ryskulov, the grazing of alfalfa grasses by cattle is noted.
In the Almaty region, there was a decrease in air temperature at night to minus 19 ...20C, in some places up to 29C (Lepsy station), which in the absence of snow cover can lead to freezing of winter crops. Also, intense thaws that have taken place everywhere during the decade can affect the winter hardiness of poorly developed winter wheat crops, in cases of cold weather returning, plants die at lower temperatures than those at which the hardening took place.
In the West Kazakhstan region, in the areas of cultivation of winter grain crops in the vicinity of the agropost Peremetnoye and Fedorovka, a stable snow cover with a height of 5-6 cm remains, which has a protective effect on plants, at a minimum air temperature of 14 ... 15C.
