Kazhydromet RSE held a meeting with the Netherlands Space Agency

Since June 2020, Kazhydromet RSE and NEVASCO Group of Companies (Netherlands) have been holding online meetings to discuss potential cooperation on environmental, hydrological and agrometeorological monitoring.
On March 9, the first offline meeting with NEVASCO representatives took place. This company works in the field of geoinformation systems and remote sensing of the Earth, develops services and technologies for environmental monitoring, including the compilation of environmental maps, monitoring of air quality, green spaces in cities, inventory and cadastre of trees, as well as monitoring of water resources.
RSE "Kazhydromet" and representatives of the delegation of the Netherlands Space Agency and the NEVASCO Group of companies to discuss issues of cooperation in the following areas:
- Environmental monitoring (including air quality monitoring);
- Hydrometeorological monitoring;
- Monitoring the quality and pollution of water resources.
In addition to close cooperation, the possibilities of training Kazakh specialists in the Netherlands were also discussed.
