Kazhydromet RSE has developed a forecast of productive moisture reserves in the soil before the start of spring field work for 2022.
According to the calculations obtained, optimal reserves of productive moisture before sowing are expected in the Karaganda, Almaty and Turkestan regions.
From optimal to satisfactory levels, moisture reserves are expected in Akmola, East Kazakhstan and Zhambyl regions.
In West Kazakhstan, Aktobe, North Kazakhstan, Kostanay, Pavlodar and Kyzylorda regions, the reserves of productive moisture in the soil before the start of spring field work are expected to be satisfactory.
In the Mangystau region in the spring of 2022, soil moisture reserves will be insufficient.
It is worth noting that despite the fact that Mangystau and Kyzylorda regions do not belong to grain-growing regions, this year a forecast of soil moisture reserves for spring 2022 has also been developed for them.
