Kazhydromet was visited by a kindergarten graduation group

Kazhydromet employees conducted an excursion for the graduation group of kindergarten No. 88 "Bayan Sulu" in Nur-Sultan. In December last year, on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the National Hydrometeorological Service of Kazakhstan, a museum dedicated to the century-old work of the Weather service was opened in the Kazhydromet building. Since then, the museum periodically welcomes guests of different ages – schoolchildren, students, and university graduates. But this week we were visited for the first time by the smallest residents of the capital. 
During the tour, the children were shown historical instruments and told how meteorologists and forecasters worked during the Second World War and in the 90s, as well as how specialists work at hard-to-reach stations that are located in places remote from settlements.
