On the causes of the smell of smoke in Pavlodar

a thick smog was observed in Pavlodar on April 15-17, 2022, the environmental monitoring posts of RSE "Kazhydromet" recorded the following exceedances of the maximum permissible concentrations of pollutants:
1) for hydrogen sulfide: 10 cases of exceeding within 1.1-1.5 MPC  
2) according to RM-2.5 (dust): 2 cases at the level of 1.3 – 2.6 MPC;
3) according to RM-10 (dust): 1 case at the level of 1.6 MPC;
4) for nitrogen dioxide: 14 cases of exceeding within 1.1-1.2 MPC
The most polluted area of post No. 5 (54 Estaya Street) for hydrogen sulfide in the area of post No. 7 (Toraigyrov - Dyusenov Street) for nitrogen dioxide, for PM2.5 and RM-10 in the area of post No. 6 (39 Zaton Street).
Monitoring of the state of atmospheric air in the city of Pavlodar is conducted on 7 stationary posts, of which 5 are automatic and 2 are manual sampling posts.
According to the NASA map, on April 16-17, significant fires were observed in the Omsk, Novosibirsk regions and the Altai Territory of the Russian Federation, as well as individual foci in the North Kazakhstan and Pavlodar regions. These fires could have an impact on the smoke observed today in the Pavlodar region and the city of Pavlodar.
