Published 25.04.2022 According to the statistical forecast, humidification conditions are expected to be close to normal in a significant territory of Kazakhstan during May.
Moderate drought is expected in:
in Aktobe region in Aitekebi and Khromtau districts;
in Kostanay region in the Zhangeldinsky district;
in the Kyzylorda region in the Kazalinsky district;
in the Mangystau region in the Mangystau district.
Moderately humid humidification conditions will develop mainly in West Kazakhstan and Atyrau regions, as well as in the south of Almaty and Zhambyl regions.
A probabilistic forecast of drought, based on a standardized precipitation index, on the territory of Kazakhstan is provided on an ongoing basis to the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and is also published in the appendix www.agrodata.kz https://agrodata.kz/#/forecasts/drought-productivity and on the website of RSE "Kazhydromet".
