Published 19.05.2022 On May 17, a three-day training seminar with the participation of engineers of the branches of RSE "Kazhydromet" started. The first day was completely devoted to theoretical knowledge. Invited experts from 15 regions conducted analysis and analysis based on long-term observations of icy-frost deposits, air humidity and fog, snowstorms, dust storms and winds. The data period was taken from 2000 to 2021. We discussed in detail the discussion and comments on the criteria of natural hydrometeorological phenomena and hazardous phenomena.
The agrometeorological part of the training included the analysis of freezing and thawing of the soil, the production of observations and monitoring of the state of agrometorological observation sites throughout Kazakhstan.
The second part of the seminar took the participants to the meteorological station "Nur-Sultan", where practical exercises were held on the correct installation of instruments on the observation platforms of the stations and the inspection of the work of employees of the ground observation network of the RSE "Kazhydromet".
