Published 16.05.2022 In the first decade of May, sowing of spring grain crops was completed in the southern regions of the republic, except for the Almaty region, where meteorological conditions somewhat hindered the completion of field work in the foothill areas. Spring field work, harrowing of fumes, chills, fertilization and sowing of spring grain crops are continuing in some areas of Akmola, Karaganda, East Kazakhstan and West Kazakhstan regions.
In the East Kazakhstan region, after preliminary preparation of the soil (plowing, harrowing and peeling stubble), they started sowing sunflower seeds, the quality of work is excellent and good.
In Almaty and Karaganda regions, soil cultivation and potato planting have begun, the quality of field work carried out is excellent and good. In the areas around the Agrogorodok and Kievka stations of the Karaganda region, the introduction of organic fertilizers for planting potatoes has begun.
In the observed areas in the vicinity of the Sarykemir agropost of the Zhambyl region, the first shoots appeared on early onion crops, the condition of the plants is good. We started vegetative watering and herbicide treatment of weeds on onion plantings.
