Published 07.06.2022 In the third decade of May, meteorological conditions for the growth and development of spring crops were favorable, precipitation above normal occurred in the west and south of the country, in the rest of the territories near and below normal.
In the northern regions, in the Aktobe region, in the east and in the center of the country, the sowing of spring grain crops continues after pretreatment of the soil, weeds and seed dressing. In the West Kazakhstan region, the sowing of spring wheat is being completed, the condition of plants is everywhere good.
In the southern regions, the condition of spring barley is good, the phase of development "appearance of the lower stem node" is "milk ripeness", in late crops in the Almaty region "grain germination" is "formation of nodular roots".
In the observed areas around the Kogaly stations of the Kerbulak district of the Almaty region, the sowing of spring wheat and barley continues.
Favorable conditions have developed for the growth and development of winter wheat in the south of the country, precipitation has improved soil moisture reserves. The phase of development "the appearance of the lower stem node" is "milk ripeness", in some areas "wax ripeness". The sowing of heat-loving crops (rice, soybeans, sugar beet, cotton) has been completed, and the sowing of corn for grain continues in some areas. They started row-to-row processing, nitrogen fertilizer application, vegetation irrigation, and the descent and discharge of water into rice checks.
