Drought forecast for the 2022 season-clarification

According to the clarifications of the drought forecast, Kazhydromet reports that June is forecast to be favorable in most of the republic, with the exception of Shetsky (Karaganda region) and Karkaralinsky districts (Amangeldinsky district of Kostanay region) – moderate drought is expected here. But in the Karmakshi district (Kyzylorda region), a severe drought is predicted in June.

Recall that Kazhydromet issued a storm warning about the possibility of drought in the first decade of June on May 27.

In the rest of Kazakhstan, humidification conditions are about normal, in some areas of Almaty, Aktobe, Zhambyl, West Kazakhstan, as well as in Mangistau and Beine districts of Mangistau region it will be moderately humid.
