Published 16.06.2022 In the first decade of June, all grain-growing areas of the northern part of the republic completed the sowing of spring grain crops. Precipitation was uneven in the predominant territory of Kazakhstan, the largest amount of precipitation fell in Akmola, Pavlodar and East Kazakhstan regions, less than normal precipitation fell in the rest of the country. The phase of development of grain crops "germination of grain" - "tillering", in the early stages of sowing – "exit into the tube" - "appearance of the lower stem node". Everywhere, herbicides against weeds have begun to treat fields with grain crops.
In the areas of winter wheat cultivation in Almaty, Zhambyl and Turkestan regions, there were also favorable conditions for the formation, ripening and filling of grain. The past short-term precipitation has somewhat replenished the moisture reserves in the soil. The phase of development of winter wheat "flowering" - "wax ripeness".
The sowing of heat-loving crops (rice, cotton, corn, sugar beet, soy) has been completed everywhere, row-to-row processing, manual loosening of the soil, descent and water intake into rice checks and vegetation irrigation have begun.
