A clarification to the drought forecast for July was issued by Kazhydromet

According to the forecast of the SIO (standardized precipitation index), precipitation deficit is expected in the Korgalzhyn district of Akmola region, Aitekebisk and Khromtau districts of Aktobe region, Alakol district of Almaty region, Nurinsky and Karkaraly districts of Karaganda region, Amangeldinsky and Zhangildinsky districts of Kostanay region, in Beineu and Mangistau districts of Mangistau region, in the vicinity of Semey of Abai region and in the greater parts of the Kyzylorda region.
Drought is predicted in the Karmakshi district of the Kyzylorda region and in the Karakiyansky district of the Mangystau region.
In the rest of Kazakhstan, humidification conditions will be close to normal, and in some areas of Atyrau, Aktobe, Almaty, West Kazakhstan regions - optimal.
