Vice-Minister of Agriculture Abylkhayyr Omarbek and Head of the Department of Agriculture Marlen Ospanov on behalf of the agricultural sector of the country congratulated the National Hydrometeorological Service of Kazakhstan on its 100th anniversary.
Kazhydromet and the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan have close working ties. For more than 70 years, Kazhydromet has been serving the agricultural industry with up-to-date agrometeorological information, continuing to improve forecasting methods and ways of presenting information. For the agricultural sector, Kazhydromet employees have developed and implemented a web application for farmers, where all information on weather forecasts, the amount of moisture in the soil, recommendations on sowing dates and much more is available.
