In 2021, the Branch of the Aktobe region carried out a lot of work to improve the state of the observation network.
• Two new automatic meteorological stations (AMS) Begimbet in the Shalkar district and AMS Zharly in the Bayganinsky district were opened, with electricity supply.
• In 2021, a Doppler meteorological radar was installed on MS Shalkar. In May 2022, the DMRL was put into operation documented.
• MS Baskuduk, Zhagabulak, Krasnoyarsk, Novorossiysk have been transferred to the category of AMC.
• The employees of the branch carried out installation work and transferred AMS to Baskuduk from Aktobe, AMS Krasnoyarsk from Novoalekseyevka, AMS Zhagabulak from Karaulkeldy, AMS Begimbet from Martuk, AMS Zharly from Vysotenka (SKO).
• For the hydrological network, projects for the construction of boat crossings were developed, expertise was passed and positive conclusions were obtained. Boat crossings have been built at 4 hydro posts (GP): GP Tamdy, GP Beskospa, GP Altykarasu, GP Tassai.
• A mobile building was moved from MS Zhagabulak for GP Temir-Leninsky, a heating system and a solar power plant were installed.
• Also in 2021, the PSAs (design estimates) for the water supply of two weather stations and for the gasification of 6 weather stations were adjusted.
• At MS Shalkar and AE (aerological station) Aktobe has a water supply system.
• Maintenance of office buildings for the 100th anniversary was carried out at six centennial stations: MS Aktobe, MS Shalkar, MS Irgiz, MS Temir, MS Uil, MS Emba.
• There are 24 hydraulic posts in the region, of which 22 are expendable 1-level, 1-lake and 4-automatic posts.
• In 2021, SD9 snow height sensors were installed at automatic meteorological stations Baskuduk, Zhagabulak, Novorossiysk, Krasnoyarsk.
• Employees of the branch constantly improve their qualifications, participate in trainings, seminars, training courses.
• In 2022, work began on the overhaul of the administrative building of the branch.
• Eight MS Nura, Novoalekseyevka, Kos-Expired, Karaulkeldy, Ilyinsky, Mugodzharskoye, Karabutak, Ayakkum are undergoing repairs of buildings, the branch has drawn up defective acts, documents have been prepared for the allocation of funds in 2023.
