Published 15.07.2022 In the first decade of July, favorable conditions were created for the growth and development of spring grain crops and their full maturation, as well as for harvesting in the south of the country. Good precipitation exceeding the norm took place in the northern half of the republic, which somewhat contributed to atmospheric humidification of the air. Everywhere in the northern regions, in the center and in the east of the country, the treatment of weeds with herbicides on grain crops continues.
In the North Kazakhstan, Pavlodar, Karaganda and West Kazakhstan regions, wheat crops have been treated with a growth regulator.
In the northern half of the republic, the phase of development "tillering" - "the appearance of the lower stem node" is noted on grain crops, and "earing" - "milk ripeness" - on early crops. The condition of grain crops is mostly good, in some areas satisfactory (Aktobe, Akmola, Pavlodar).
In the southern regions, the condition of spring grains is everywhere good. The development phase of "earing" is "full ripeness", harvesting operations (barley) have begun everywhere.
In the areas of winter wheat cultivation, there were favorable conditions for filling and full ripeness of grain, as well as for harvesting. In Almaty, Zhambyl and Turkestan regions, winter wheat is in the "waxy" – "full ripeness" phase, harvesting has begun in some areas.
