There are eleven operating weather stations (MS) in the branch of RSE "Kazhydromet" in Atyrau region: Atyrau, Makhambet, Peshnoy, Sagiz, Kulsary, Karabau, Inderborsky, Ganyushkino, Novy Ushtagan and two automatic meteorological stations (AMS): Makat and Isatai.
• In 2021, meteo equipment, personal computers were delivered, and work was carried out to provide all MS with Internet access.
• Ongoing repairs have been carried out at MS Inderborsky, Sagyz, an Aerological gas generator in Atyrau, as well as an inaccessible post and a mobile building at Igolkinskaya Bank.
• In 2021, a two-room mobile residential unit module was installed on MS Makhambet.
• The fencing was replaced at the weather site of MS Atyrau.
• An anemorumbometer M-63 was installed at the weather stations Inderborsky and Kulsary to monitor wind direction and wind speed.
• Repairs at 2 stations of Kulsary and Zhana-Ushtagan are planned for 2022-23.
• In 2021, 6 monoblocks, 10 uninterruptible power supplies were purchased and installed by the branch's specialists at weather stations.
• Pre-flood, post-flood leveling and inspections were carried out at all hydraulic posts.
• The transfer of three monitoring stations for atmospheric air pollution has been carried out. For the transfer of stations, the areas most susceptible to atmospheric air pollution were selected.
• In 2021, 5 automatic compact environmental monitoring stations were installed on the territory of Atyrau and Atyrau region (APEC training center, in the villages of Inder, Zhanbai, Makat and Ganyushkino).
• The integrated laboratory of the branch monitors data from automatic environmental posts of NCOC (19 stations), Atyrau Oil Refinery (ANPZ) (4 stations) and Tengizchevroil LLP (4 stations). All the information received is available in the AirKz mobile application, on an interactive map of environmental information, and placed for viewing by the population on the LED screens of the city of Atyrau.
• Since 2022, with the help of a mobile laboratory, field measurements are made in the city of Atyrau at three points: the village of Zhumyker, Atyrau railway station, the Black River – the city pond evaporator.
• In 2021, a gas chromatograph was purchased for the determination of volatile organic compounds and mercaptans in atmospheric air.
• In 2022, it is planned to expand the scope of accreditation of the Integrated Environmental Monitoring Laboratory for volatile organic compounds.
