In June, intense heat waves led to temperature records in many regions of Kazakhstan. In the southern half of the country, an intense heat wave was observed at the beginning of the month and in the second half of the third decade. Daytime air temperatures rose to +38+44°C. So, on June 25, the highest air temperature of +44.2 ° C was recorded at the Kyzylorda meteorological station, thereby breaking the record of 2000, when on the same day the air temperature reached +41.9 ° C, also on the Zhezkazgan MS the maximum air temperature was +42.0 ° C, the last time such a high air temperature it was noted in 1998 (+39.7 °C). On June 27, the maximum air temperature reached +43.1 °C at Aktau MS, breaking the record of 2021 (+39.6 ° C). On June 29, in Almaty, the highest air temperature was +35.5 ° C, surpassing the record of 1998 (+34.6 °C), at MS Taraz, the maximum air temperature was +41.0 ° C, breaking the record of the same day in 1994 (+37.8 ° C), in Shymkent for the whole month, the maximum temperature The air temperature was +40.4 °C, the last time on the same day the highest air temperature was in 1990 (+40.0 °C), on MS Turkestan the maximum air temperature was +43.0 °C, thereby breaking the record of 1993, when the maximum air temperature on the same day was +40.8 °C.
In addition, in addition to temperature records in the Almaty region during the month, and in the Pavlodar region at the end of the month, unfavorable weather conditions were observed, such as strong wind, reaching the criteria of OHS (spontaneous hydrometeorological phenomenon). So at the automatic weather station (AMS) Dostyk (Almaty region) on June 01, 06, 13, 28, the north-westerly wind increased with gusts up to 31-40 m/s. On June 25, the westerly wind increased at the Mikhaylovka AMS (Pavlodar region), reaching 31 m/s.
In the capital of the country, Nur-Sultan, during the month, the highest air temperature was recorded on June 25, the thermometer columns reached +38.0 ° C, which did not exceed the record figures of previous years.
