Published 08.08.2022 In the third decade of July, precipitation in the northern half of the country created good conditions for filling grain of spring crops, but the increased temperature background worsened conditions during flowering, which can cause a hollow-nose and thereby cause crop losses. Chemical treatment of wheat crops continues in Kostanay and North Kazakhstan regions.
The phase of development "earing" is "waxy ripeness", in some areas "full ripeness" and in late crops "tillering" is "the appearance of the lower stem node". The condition of spring grain crops in the observation areas is mostly good, in some places excellent, in some areas satisfactory, in the Ertis and Terenkol districts of the Pavlodar region poor, due to sparsity of crops (wheat).
In the southern regions, favorable conditions have developed for the full ripeness of grain and the completion of harvesting of winter wheat and barley.
In the Almaty region, the condition of spring grain crops is good, the development phase of "dairy" is "full ripeness", harvesting has begun in the vicinity of Taldykorgan and Sarkand stations.
The condition of heat-loving crops (corn for grain, rice, cotton, soy, sugar beet) is excellent and good, vegetation irrigation continues.
In the observed areas with potato plantings in Almaty, North Kazakhstan, Kostanay and Karaganda regions, the phase of "flowering" - "wilting of the tops" is noted. The condition of plants everywhere is excellent and good. Manual potato bursting and vegetative watering continues.
