Published 15.08.2022 Since August 1, in accordance with the Environmental Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan, RSE "Kazhydromet" has opened access to the State Climate Cadastre. During the first week, more than 70 users registered on the data usage platform.
The maintenance of the state climate cadastre is formed from the results of all stages of processing meteorological information and consists of three parts:
1. Meteorological monthly;
2. Meteorological yearbooks;
3. Reference books on the climate of Kazakhstan.
At the moment, monthly and annual resolution observation data are available from 2021. Meteorological monthlies are published no earlier than 2 months following the reporting period, meteorological yearbooks - no later than 6 months following the reporting period. The sections of the Directory are updated every 10 years and published as soon as they are ready. Updated climate standards for the period 1991-2020 are already available for 5 characteristics. In the near future, it is planned to publish for earlier periods of 1971-2000, 1981-2010. Kazhydromet continues to expand the list of tables, to replenish the database of meteorological data and to expand the functions of the software of the electronic version of the cadastre.
