Published 16.08.2022 In the first decade of August, generally satisfactory conditions were created for the ripening and full ripeness of grain and the beginning of harvesting.
In the northern half of the republic, the phase of development "dairy" - "wax ripeness" is mainly observed on grain crops, "full ripeness" in some areas, "earing" and "flowering" in late crops. The condition of the crops is mostly good, in some areas satisfactory. Harvesting operations have begun on early sowing of spring grain crops in East Kazakhstan and West Kazakhstan regions, in the North Kazakhstan region, mowing wheat into rolls with separate harvesting.
In the Almaty region, the condition of spring wheat is good. The phase of development is "dairy" – "waxy ripeness", precipitation somewhat inhibits the harvesting of barley.
Harvesting of winter wheat has been completed in Almaty and Zhambyl regions, harvesting continues in the vicinity of Tasaryk stations in Tolebiy district of Turkestan region.
In the south and south-east of the country, the condition of heat-loving crops (corn, rice, cotton, sugar beet, soy) is excellent and good. Hoeing and vegetative watering of crops continues.
Vegetation irrigation continues on potato plantings in the observed areas in Almaty, Kostanay, North Kazakhstan and Karaganda regions. The condition of plants everywhere is excellent and good, the phase of development is "flowering" - "withering of the tops".
