Published 07.09.2022 In the third decade of August, favorable conditions for full ripeness of grain mainly developed in the north and east of the country, short-term precipitation somewhat affected the course of harvesting. Harvesting has begun everywhere.
In the northern half of the republic, the development phase of "full ripeness" is mainly observed on grain crops, "wax ripeness" in some areas, and "milk ripeness" on crops in the vicinity of Katarkol stations of the Akmola region. The condition of the crops is good, in some areas, mainly in the Pavlodar region, satisfactory, where poor crops are also noted.
In the southern regions, the harvesting of spring grain crops has been completed, except for the foothill areas of the Almaty region.
The condition of heat-loving crops (corn for grain, sugar beet, soy, cotton) is excellent and good. Rice harvesting has begun, vegetation watering continues, and beetroot has begun to break through manually.
In the observed areas with potato plantings in Almaty, North Kazakhstan, Kostanay and Karaganda regions, the "end of flowering" phase is marked - "withering of the tops", the condition of plants everywhere is excellent and good, harvesting has begun.
At the observed sites in the East Kazakhstan, Pavlodar and Kostanay regions, sunflower has a phase of "maturation" and "harvest ripeness". The condition of sunflower is mostly good, in some places excellent, in some areas in the Pavlodar region satisfactory.
