Published 09.09.2022 Director General of RSE "Kazhydromet" Danara Alimbayeva took part in a panel session of the United Nations Development Program of the Republic of Kazakhstan (UNDP).
The current session, held in the capital of Kazakhstan, is dedicated to the implementation of a project to promote climate-smart agrometeorology in Kazakhstan. D.Alimbayeva in her report expressed gratitude to UNDP for the support provided to the National Hydrometeorological Service of Kazakhstan and dwelled in detail on the achievements carried out by Kazgidomet in the agrometeorological sphere. Namely, in 2020, a web application for farmers that has no analogues in Central Asia was successfully launched. Several years of close cooperation with the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan and farming enterprises proved the necessity and effectiveness of this application, and also showed priority areas for future development to improve services for the agricultural sector.
