Published 24.11.2022 On November 21-25, a seminar for employees of hydrometeorological services of Central Asian countries is being held in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. The purpose of the seminar is to provide full training on the installation and use of digital databases on meteorology, climatology and hydrology (MSN) for information technology and hydrology specialists. The seminar is attended by IT specialists of hydrometeorological services of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan.
The consultation and training are conducted by international specialists Michael Haase and Nirina Ravalitera. Employees of RSE "Kazhydromet" in 2017 introduced the first version of the MSN electronic database, and actively use it in their work. And such seminars are needed to teach the novelties of the program and in order to hear the wishes of users for further improvement of the MSN.
