Published 02.12.2022 In the third decade of November in the south and south-east of the republic in the areas of cultivation of winter crops, the temperature background was mostly above normal, precipitation also fell above normal.
In the fields of winter wheat at the end of the decade, the termination of vegetation on crops in the vicinity of Taldykorgan stations of Almaty region and Merke stations of Zhambyl region was noted. In the vicinity of Tasaryk stations in Turkestan region, the resumption of wheat vegetation is noted. The condition of winter wheat crops everywhere is excellent and good, the height of plants is 5-8 cm. Snow cover is mostly absent, except in the foothill and mountainous areas of the Almaty region, where the snow height reaches up to 33 cm, which is favorable for overwintering winter crops.
