Kazhydromet was visited by the Miras school

On the eve of the New Year holidays, the primary classes of the Astana school "Miras" visited the RSE "Kazhydromet". On the first floor of our building, in honor of the 100th anniversary, in 2021, the museum of the history of the Weather Service was opened. The kids enjoyed viewing the exhibits and listening to the staff of the Hydrometeorological Service of Kazakhstan about how forecasters, hydrologists, meteorologists and environmentalists worked during the Second World War, in the harsh 90s and in modern conditions.
After the museum, the students visited the Hydrometeorological Center, watched how forecasters write the weather forecast, asked questions and saw satellite images of our country on the screens.
