Kazhydromet employees visited GFZ in Germany

During December 12-16, employees of RSE "Kazhydromet" visited the GFZ in Potsdam, Germany. We took part in the meeting of the working group "Green Central Asia", and also within the framework of this event, the Fifth Tashkent Lecture on Water Security was held, the main purpose of which is to integrate scientific knowledge about water resources within the framework of the political dialogue in Central Asia.
From Kazakhstan, the event was attended by representatives of Kazhydromet RSE - Director of the Research Center Nurlan Abayev and Head of the Department of Modeling of Hydrological Processes and Hydrological Calculations Tursyn Tillakarim.
Specialists of the National Hydrometeorological Service of Kazakhstan made a report "Data, tools and methods of hydrological forecasting to support decision-making in Kazakhstan".
