For the first time, Kazhydromet opens access to a hydrological database!

Since January 2023, a new section "Hydrological database" opens on the website of RSE "Kazhydromet" https://meteo.kazhydromet.kz/database_hydro_kz / . This is a structured set of hydrological information, such as the flow rate and water level, the state of the water body, the thickness of the ice and the height of the snow on the ice, and much more. The program on classification and ordering of the hydrological base was created by the forces and means of RSE "Kazhydromet".
The database has been loaded with data from observations of hydro posts of RSE "Kazhydromet" since 1995. To date, hydrological observations are carried out at 367 hydro posts, which conduct continuous monitoring on 208 watercourses, 27 lakes and reservoirs located throughout the republic. The number of hydraulic posts for this period has changed, both decreasing and increasing, and therefore the information is presented according to actual data.  
All the collected information is available in the form of an electronic reference database and the user can get objective and accurate information for the period from 1995 to 2022. This data set is designed to meet consumer demand and hydrological information. The electronic database is supplemented and, as necessary, the presentation form is changed for the convenience of users.
